Halberd Books is a series of poetry volumes from David M. Briggs. If you like banging your head against the wall, shifting your definitions of love and art, setting your yearning to music, or going a little bonkers, then Halberd Books is for you.

David M. Briggs is a writer, editor, designer, and bookseller from the American Midwest. Over the last two decades, his poetry and prose have regularly appeared online and in print in newspapers, journals, and zines nationwide, including Polychrome Ink, Activator Magazine, Springfield Cultural Arts Magazine, The Wisconsin Poets' Calendar, and Steam Ticket: A Third Coast Review. Nominated for Best Poet of La Crosse, WI, Flash Fiction Magazine Shortlist, and the Mayor's Award for Literary Arts 2024, David lives in Springfield, Illinois with his fiancée and an assortment of cats.
